Tri-State's quiz team won the 2011-2012 national tournament held during Momentum Youth Conference at Eastern Kentucky University. Led by strong individual performances by Vanessa Tabor (#3 national quizzer) and Ronica Niece (#4 national quizzer), the team held first place after the preliminary rounds of competition and then defeated Chesapeake in the semi-final round and North East Ohio in the final. The dramatic final quiz went back and forth until Vanessa Tabor correctly answered question #18 to up Tri-State's lead to 50 points, effectively winning the quiz. Britney Young added 80 points in the final, all coming from memory verses. Other quizzers on the team included Ben Michael, Charlie Janowiecki, Paige Hayes and Tabatha Hanna.
Congratulations quizzers!

Jason Bradshaw from Greenville Grace is looking to connect all the worship leaders in our district. He was thinking of a time to get together in order to compare notes on what our different churches are doing in areas of worship. This would also be a time for encouragement and sharing of ideas.
If you are interested in being a part of this, email Jason:
